PROGRAMS  Program
OverviewTAE operates year-round with the following core programs:
The Arts Experience Children's Choirs and Youth Oratorio are performance oriented choirs that provide extensive musical education and vocal training to youth ages 6 to 19.
The annual
All County Choral Festival, open
to middle/high school singers and choral directors give
participants the unique opportunity to work directly with a
nationally recognized composer/clinician.
The Summer Experience, and arts
enrichment day camp for children ages 5 to 14, exposes youth
to the performing arts through instruction in music, art
drama and dance.
 Professional
Development Workshops are conducted each year by
national artists and provide classroom teachers with
innovative ways to incorporate arts education into a
traditional curriculum.
Location & Estimated Duration
TAE is a permanent program
providing after-school arts education programs year round to
youth residing in the greater Charlotte area. TAE Choirs
provide singers with intensive weekly rehearsals held nine
months out of the school year.
The Summer
Experience operates one week during the summer.
Professional
Development Workshops are held annually whenever
national artists are in residence. The
All County Choral Festival is a
2 day festival held annually.
Student Art is showcased throughout the year. |
